What is the Montgomery County Democratic Central Committee (MCDCC)?

MCDCC is the governing body of the Democratic Party in Montgomery County, MD that works to elect Democrats through voter registration, outreach, and grassroots organizing and fundraising. Members have a critical voice in reviewing and recommending candidates for appointment to vacancies in the State Legislature.

Members are elected every four years in the gubernatorial primary.

Are MCDCC members paid?

MCDCC members are volunteers.  There is no monetary compensation for this position.  

How should I vote?

MCDCC At Large seats must have an equal representation for each gender (or as close to equal as possible). With eight at-large seats, only four female candidates can win.  Choose Deborah S. Belsky as one of your four votes!
